Cedar hydrosol (or cedar water) is a wonderfully fragrant, sweet hydrosol with woody notes. The water is stable and long-lasting. The scent only diminishes after a year and a half. Cedar provides a feeling of warmth and security.

Ingredients (INCI)
Cedrus atlantica bark water (100% organic).
Usage
In skincare, cedar water has a restorative and soothing effect on the skin. Cedar hydrosol can be used pure or diluted with another hydrosol (such as lavender or orange blossom hydrosol) as a daily facial toner. Cedar is particularly restorative and refreshing for skin prone to inflammation. It also makes a beneficial and gentle facial toner.
Skin: Make a compress or spray. The cedar water can be used pure or diluted with mineral water (7 parts cedar and 7 parts water). For men, cedar water can be used as the base for an aftershave or a natural perfume.
Hair Care: Massage cedar water into your scalp while it's still damp, or spray it on before your hair dries. It leaves your hair pleasantly scented, gently promotes hair growth, and strengthens the hair structure.
Make a shampoo with cedar water: neutral shampoo with cedar water (50:50) or make a conditioner with the addition of cedar water.
Feet
Cedar water cools tired, warm feet after a long day of standing. Mixed with peppermint water, it refreshes and cools even more. A warm foot bath with cedar water before bed can help you sleep soundly.
Animals
Fill a spray bottle with cedar water and spray it on cats' fur to combat fleas and dander. Hydrosols are safe to use on cats. Cedar water can also be sprayed on dogs after bathing to combat fleas. It will also leave their fur smelling wonderful. A daily flea spray for summer and fall!
