The bergamot is ripened on the tree in Calabria, southern Italy, the only place on earth where exceptional quality bergamot oil comes from. This bergamot oil is also certified organic, as evidenced by the European organic quality mark.
Bergamot oil is greenish-yellow in color and is pressed from the peel of the almost-ripe bergamot fruit. The fruits are somewhat pear-shaped and, when ripe, develop a yellowish color. Bergamot trees are cultivated specifically for their essential oil, primarily in southern Italy. Bergamot is the well-known aroma of Earl Grey tea. The scent of bergamot is fresh, sweet, and fruity. 200kg of fresh peels are needed to produce 1 liter of bergamot oil.

Usage
This organic essential oil is suitable for culinary use, among other things. You can add it drop by drop to dishes! Unlike dried herbs, pure essential oils retain their distinctive scent, flavor, and "Chi"—the life force of the flower or plant.
In addition to its use in cooking, the oil is also suitable for use in skin care or for evaporation.
