Chi Baobab plant oil eco bio
The baobab tree is one of the most famous and characteristic trees in Africa. It is the thickest tree in the world (with a girth of over 10 meters) and can sometimes be wider than it is tall. The beautiful creamy-white flowers, which open only at night, are large and hang singly on a flower stalk; they are adapted for pollination by nectar-drinking bats. After flowering, the oval fruits appear, containing sour, edible pulp and numerous seeds. These fruits are highly nutritious and packed with vitamin C, antioxidants, and minerals.
The oil is obtained by cold-pressing the seeds of ripe fruits. When ripe, the fruits fall to the ground and are gathered by locals. Cold-pressing is the best method for preserving all the active ingredients in the oil, making it ideal for general skin care. The oil is golden yellow in color, has a rich and silky texture, a pleasant aroma, and a mild nutty flavor.
-improves skin elasticity
-for every skin type
-natural moisturizer
-for dry skin, eczema, chapped lips and sunburn
-high content of vitamin E
-cold-pressed and organic oil = 100% natural
Ingredients (INCI)
Adansonia digitata
Usage
Baobab oil can be used pure as a skin and massage oil. Baobab softens the skin, including the face. Baobab is quickly and almost completely absorbed by the skin, but leaves an invisible thin layer on the skin, so it never feels dry or tight. However, it doesn't leave a greasy feeling. Baobab gives the skin a beautiful sheen. Baobab acts as a natural moisturizer, keeping the skin supple, especially when applied to damp skin. Baobab is especially effective for dry, itchy, and damaged skin. Therefore, baobab relieves symptoms of conditions such as dry eczema and sunburn. Use the oil daily. Baobab is very suitable for treating stretch marks and scars. Thanks to its vitamin E content, baobab prevents skin damage caused by free radicals.
Tip! Baobab is fantastic for chapped lips. A small amount will quickly heal them.
