The Cellacare Rhizocast Classic is a bidirectional wrist and thumb immobilization brace. It provides immobilization of the carpometacarpal and metacarpophalangeal joints of the thumb.

Indications

- immobilization in case of degenerative changes of the wrist and the base and/or saddle joint of the thumb (scapho-trapeziotrapezoidarthrosis, rhizarthrosis)
- immobilization in inflammatory conditions of the tendon apparatus of the hand (tendovaginitis)
- immobilization in early carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS)
