Care Plus Tick out remover
Care Plus® Tick Remover tick pen
Discover a tick? Remove it safely and easily with the Care Plus® Tick-Remover tick pen.
Always check yourself and each other for tick bites after being outdoors. Ticks feed on the blood of humans and animals. They often seek out warm spots to do so, so check carefully behind the ears, in the hollows of the knees and elbows, under the armpits, and in the cleft of the buttocks. If you find a tick, removing it correctly is crucial. Do this as soon as possible to prevent possible infection with the Borrelia bacteria (which cause Lyme disease).
You can easily remove a tick with the Care Plus® Tick Remover. This tick remover allows you to effortlessly remove even the most stubborn tick in its entirety, including the head and legs. Then disinfect the wound with alcohol.
Note the date and location of the tick bite in your calendar. If the tick has been on your body for more than eight hours, contact your doctor immediately.
Includes two alcohol wipes. Read the instructions first.

Usage
1. Grasp the Tick-Remover tick pen with your thumb and middle finger and press the back of the pliers with your index finger to open the gripper.
2. Carefully place the gripper of the pen over the tick - as close to the skin as possible - and then allow the gripper to close.
3. Then, with a few careful tugs, pull the tick straight out of the skin.
4. Disinfect the bite area and note the date of the bite in your calendar.
5. If you experience any discomfort at the bite site or notice a red circle on your skin, always contact your doctor.
