Looking for the best protection against mosquitoes and ticks? Prevent itchy red bumps or threatening diseases (transmitted by insects) by spraying your skin with Care Plus® DEET 40%. DEET is the strongest insect repellent for the skin and suitable for all destinations, both far away and closer to home. Whether you're relaxing in your garden, enjoying a day trip in your own country, or visiting a tropical holiday resort. Care Plus® DEET is effective against house mosquitoes (Culex species) and mosquitoes that can cause malaria (Anopheles species) and yellow fever (Aedes species). Care Plus® DEET is also effective against ticks (Ixodes species), which can cause Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis (meningitis). DEET is recommended for destinations with a risk of malaria and yellow fever. Care Plus® DEET 40% protects against mosquitoes for up to 8 hours and against ticks for up to 4 hours. The spray is suitable for children aged 13 and over and adults.

Legal instructions for use
Apply Anti-Insect DEET 40% to exposed skin. Spray the mosquito repellent onto your skin and spread it with the palm of your hand.

Use biocides safely. Read the label and product information before use.

Compound
N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide (DEET) 38.8% w/w (CAS 134-62-3), Ethanol 60.0% w/w (CAS 64-17-5).

Dosage/use
Spray a small amount onto your fingertips and spread it over your face. Wash your hands and then spray the backs of your hands. Always keep your fingers free when eating or drinking. Avoid contact of DEET with damaged skin (wounds, sunburn), eyes, nostrils, mouth, lips, and mucous membranes. Do not apply the mosquito repellent under clothing or to areas where the skin flexes significantly, such as the backs of the knees. We advise vulnerable groups such as pregnant and breastfeeding women, and children under 13 to avoid using DEET.

Avoid contact of the Anti-Insect DEET 40% spray with damaged skin (wounds, sunburn), eyes, nose, nostrils, mouth, lips, or mucous membranes. Do not apply the mosquito repellent under clothing or to areas where the skin flexes frequently, such as the backs of the elbows and knees. For children, avoid using Anti-Insect DEET 40% spray on areas that could easily come into contact with the eyes and mouth, such as the hands and forearms.
Do not use this product if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or on children under 13 years of age. If protection is no longer needed or if adverse reactions occur, wash the skin thoroughly with soap and water. Do not apply the product directly to the face from the packaging. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. If you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately and show the label where possible. Keep this product away from sources of ignition, food, drink, and animal feed. Do not expose to temperatures above 50°C or in confined spaces with poor ventilation. Close the container tightly after use. Dispose of residues with household waste. Read the label and package insert before use.
