Instructions for use
The unlit end of the ear candle is placed vertically in the ear with a light twisting motion and gentle downward pressure to completely seal the ear canal. The ear candle is correctly placed if no smoke is seen coming from the ear canal and a faint crackling sound is perceived. The hand rests over the patient's ear, the ear candle clamped between the fingers; this provides a feeling of protection and security. Extinguishing the ear candle. The ear candle does not extinguish by itself. Let it burn down to approximately 1cm above the red line, certainly no further. Then remove the ear candle from the ear with a light twisting motion and extinguish it in a glass of water. Both ears should always be treated, one after the other, to ensure energetic balance. After removing the ear candle, gently clean the ear with an ear spoon to remove any condensation residue that may have adhered to the small ear hairs and the front of the ear canal.
Warnings
For safety reasons, it is not recommended to place ear candles on yourself. Always have the treatment performed by a second person (e.g., partner or friend). This person must strictly follow our instructions; then the use is safe, and the person receiving the ear candles can completely relax. Do you have chronic or acute complaints? In the case of a perforated eardrum, implants of the middle ear ossicles, acute ear infections, and skin conditions of the ear and ear canal, treatment with ear candles is generally not recommended.
