Aromed Ylang ylang oil bio
The wild ylang ylang is a tropical tree growing to approximately 10–40 meters tall and native to Indonesia and the Philippines. Cultivated trees are pruned to a shrub-like size of about 3–5 meters tall. The flowers of this tree are white, soft purple, pink, or yellow. They are small and grow in clusters, half hidden behind the large green leaves. The oil is extracted from the freshly picked flowers by steam distillation. This oil has a fruity, floral scent and is yellowish in color.
Ylang ylang has a beneficial effect on blood pressure and heart rate. It balances hormones, is an excellent oil for the skin, and regulates sebum production. Ylang ylang is an aphrodisiac. Ylang ylang relaxes, calms, and dispels stubbornness. It is excellent for relieving depression, mood swings, and anger.
