Aromed Lemongrass oil organic
Lemongrass is a fast-growing, aromatic grass species that reaches a height of up to 1.5 meters, with an extensive root system that quickly depletes the soil. Its rapid growth allows it to be harvested three to four times a year. The essential oil is distilled from partially dried and cut grasses of various Cymbopogon species. After distillation, the grass is used as animal feed. The main component of the oil is citral, a compound with a strong lemony scent. Lemongrass is used in large quantities as a flavor enhancer in foods and has a strong, fresh aroma.
Lemongrass has a calming effect on the nervous system. It promotes optimism, dispels bad moods and negative thoughts, and improves concentration.
