Symptoms include excessive discharge (often gray), an unpleasant (fishy) odor, itching, irritation, sensitivity, redness, and a burning sensation.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cb\u003eDirections for use\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cbr\u003e External application\u003cbr\u003e For discomfort in the external genital area (such as itching, irritation, soreness, and sensitivity), you can apply Multi-Gyn ActiGel externally with your finger. Wash your hands before use. \r \u003cbr\u003e1. Unscrew the cap from the tube. Before first use, pierce the sealed opening of the tube with the back of the cap.\u003cbr\u003e 2. Take the tube in one hand and hold the index finger of your other hand close to the tube, as shown in the picture. Gently squeeze the tube. Continue squeezing until you have a generous amount on your index finger.\u003cbr\u003e The amount on your index finger is comparable to the size of your fingertip (approx. 2 ml).\u003cbr\u003e 4. Apply the gel to the external pubic area.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Internal application\r \u003cbr\u003eFor internal vaginal discomfort, such as bacterial vaginosis, you should apply Multi-Gyn ActiGel internally. You can use the enclosed applicator, which screws onto the tube. After use, leave the applicator on the tube, rinse it under running water, and close the cap. If desired, you can also insert the gel into the vagina with your finger. Wash your hands first.
