Rinse again with cold, clean water. Add 60 ml of water to the bag.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Do not use less than 60 ml of water. Using less water may cause the parts to shrink.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Place the parts you want to disinfect in the bag.\u003cbr\u003e Do not overfill the bag. \r \u003cbr\u003eDo not disinfect the hose in a microwave bag. This may cause the hose to become deformed.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e One bag is big enough for, for example:\u003cbr\u003e - one breast shield\/connector\/vacuum valve with membrane and a bottle with cap or teat;\u003cbr\u003e - two breast shields\/connectors\/vacuum valves with membrane;\u003cbr\u003e - two breast milk bottles (150 ml) with caps\/teats;\u003cbr\u003e - two breast milk bottles (250 ml) with caps\/teats.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Seal the bag tightly. Place the sealed bag in the microwave. Place the bag in the center of the turntable.\u003cbr\u003e Make sure the bag is upright and can rotate freely in the microwave.\u003cbr\u003e NB: If your microwave does not have a turntable, turn the bag halfway through the heating process.\u003cbr\u003e Heat the bag according to the heating times below.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Heating times:\u003cbr\u003e - 1100 W+ = 1.5 minutes\u003cbr\u003e - 800–1100 W = 3 minutes\u003cbr\u003e - 500–750 W = 5 minutes.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e If you use longer heating times than recommended, the parts may shrink. \r \u003cbr\u003eCarefully remove the warm bag from the microwave. Use oven mitts or potholders, as hot water and steam can accumulate in the microwave.\u003cbr\u003e First, pour the hot water out of the bag through the drain hole. Then carefully open the bag.\u003cbr\u003e Be careful when removing the bag from the microwave and opening it. Hot water or steam may escape (which can burn you).\u003cbr\u003e Carefully remove all the parts from the bag. Dry each part with a clean cloth. Store any parts you won't be using immediately after cleaning in a clean zip-lock bag or a container with a lid.\u003cbr\u003e You can also wrap the parts in clean paper or a clean cloth. You can use the bag up to 20 times.\u003cbr\u003e You can keep track of how often you've used the bag using the numbered boxes on the bag.
